No refunds, and here's why.
MorningStack is a digital kit — Python files and HTML in a zip. The moment we email it to you, you have the product forever. We can't take it back, even after a refund. If we offered "changed my mind" refunds, the kit would effectively be free for anyone who asked, and we'd be out of business in a week. So we don't.
The trade-off: we work hard to over-disclose before you click buy — full screenshot on the landing page, a "who it's NOT for" section, 12-question FAQ, the kit's own README is right there in the email. Read all of that first. If you're unsure, email hello@morningstack.marketingprompthub.com and ask — we'd rather answer five pre-purchase questions than deal with one regretted purchase.
Is this allowed in the EU?
Yes — under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights), digital content delivered immediately is exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal, provided the buyer explicitly consents to immediate delivery and acknowledges the loss of the withdrawal right before paying.
Our Stripe Checkout collects exactly that consent: you tick a "I agree to the terms of service" checkbox referencing this page. That isn't a hidden gotcha — it's the legal mechanism that makes "no refunds on a digital download" possible in the EU.
If you're a consumer in the UK, EU, or EEA and want to verify this for yourself: the relevant clause is Article 16(m) of the directive. Most digital products you've bought from Apple, Amazon, Steam, or any indie platform use the same waiver.
What we WILL fix, no questions asked
The "no refunds" rule is for "I changed my mind" cases. It does not apply when something is broken on our end. We'll always make these right:
- You never received the download email. Use the recovery page to re-send. If that fails too, email us — we'll re-send manually or refund if we can't deliver.
- The kit doesn't run on your machine. Tell us the error and OS. If we can't get it working, we refund.
- You were charged twice or for the wrong amount. We refund the duplicate immediately. Email hello@morningstack.marketingprompthub.com with the Stripe receipt.
- Fraudulent charge on your card. Contact your bank for the chargeback; tell us too so we can investigate.
For anything else, ask before buying.
"What if you go out of business with my money?"
The kit is a zip of plain Python + HTML. There's no service to go down. Even if MorningStack as a business disappears tomorrow, the file in your Downloads folder keeps working forever. And if we do shut down, the build code goes open source on our public GitHub — so anyone (including you) can keep iterating on it.
Why $45 with no refunds vs $5 with refunds
Fair question. The other tools we ship in our suite (everysong, DraftFolk, etc.) are access-based — you get an account, and we can revoke access cleanly after a refund. The economics work at $5. MorningStack is a file the buyer keeps, so the same refund model would mean handing out free copies. The $45 price reflects this, and the no-refunds policy is the honest way to make the maths work.
